Our main research thrust is to apply polar organometallic reagents incorporating special cooperative effects to key organometallic transformations and to rigorously understand the chemistry involved. Some of our recent contributions have opened up the exciting new areas of main group metal-mediated cascade activations of N- heterocyclic molecules and Green Chemistry as well as developing new s-block metal catalysts.
